The Rev. Dr. T. Lee Stephens, Rectorr

Father Lee came to St. Luke's in January of 1997. He and his wife, Lynda, moved here from Tyler, Texas and Christ Episcopal Church. Father Lee has over thirty years of pastoral experience, which began in the Baptist tradition until he came into the Episcopal Church in 1989. By profession, Lynda is an accompanist and professor of piano. She has a private piano studio and also teaches at Bartlesville Wesleyan College. Father Lee and Lynda have three grown sons, two daughter-in-law, and three grandchildren.

 
   
Father Sean A. Ekberg

Fr.Sean is a product of the tri-state region known as New Texoma (New Mexico, Texas, and Oklahoma.) He and his wife Nicole recently moved to Bartlesville from Austin, TX where he attended seminary for three years and she worked for Bank Of America. Deacon Doug Freebern

Doug and his wife Connie have been members here since 1999.  They moved here from Oklahoma City.   Doug and Connie have four adult children; two live in Bartlesville with their families and two live in Denver.  They have nine grandchildren.


 
   

Deacon Lauri Watkins, Christian Education Coordinator

Lauri Watkins joined the staff as Christian Education Coordinator in July, 2012.  This came after she retired from teaching at Wayside Elementary.  Lauri spent 29 years in the classroom, teaching mostly fourth and fifth graders.  Lauri and Mike live in an old house in downtown Bartlesville, spending their time working on the house and preparing to enter the deaconate.  Between them, they have 4 adult children and 3 precious granddaughters.  Tiger the cat and Maggie the dog share space at home. 

 
   
Deacon Mike Watkins

He and his wife Lauri came to St. Luke’s in 1997.  In 2013, Mike retired from a career in computer engineering.  Before retiring he began to study spiritual direction and has been active in Ignatius retreats in the Tulsa area.  When time is available he migrates toward hiking and camping.  Lauri and he have made a pact to make travel a high priority.
 

 
 

Dolores McCrearyDolores McCreary, Organist/Choirmaster

Dolores has been organist/choirmaster at St. Luke's since 1978. She does a remarkable job with the organ, choir and worship music and brings variety and flair to everything she does. Dolores has written many of the musicals and dramas performed under her direction. Her contributions to the arts in the Bartlesville community are widely known and respected. Dolores and Max have two grown daughters, two sons-in-law, and seven grandchildren.

 
 
   
 Steve Forsythe, Parish Administrator

Steve is the new Parish Administrator for St. Luke's, replacing Doug Freebern, who retired at the end of 2014.  He and his wife Maureen have been members of St. Luke's since 2002 and he has been involved in various church activities over the years.  As Parish Administrator Steve is responsible primarily for keeping the church building and four rental properties up and functioning.  He can be reached at 918-336-1212.
   
 
 

Ann Bell, Parish Secretary

Ann joined the staff in July 1996. She is responsible for everything from publishing the weekly newsletter and worship bulletins to record keeping to answering the phone to managing office operations. She and her husband Merle have a son, two daughters, a daughter-in-law, two sons-in-law and three grandchildren..

 

Rob Baughman, Sexton

Rob was raised in Bartlesville and has been a member of  St. Luke's his whole life.  He was active in St. Luke's E.Y.C. youth group. Rob has been the Sexton since March 2008.

Amalie Sutton

Amalie Sutton is a lifelong Oklahoman. She resides in Barnsdall and is currently completing her education at Oklahoma Wesleyan University in Bartlesville. Together with her husband, Travis, they parent 2 daughters, aged 4 and 1, as well as a 3 year old Greyhound. Amalie was confirmed into the Episcopal Church at St. Luke’s in 2013. She enjoys cooking, walking, and restoring a very old home. Amalie has provided childcare through various employers for over 10 years.
