Altar Guild – Becky Liehr, Directress
The women of the Altar Guild work with the Rector and serve
the parish by making sure everything is ready for the
worship services including the Altar, candles, vessels,
wine, bread, etc. Altar Guild teams also assist the Rector
with weddings and funerals.
Children's Activities – Megan
Burnett, Children’s Ministries
There are numerous opportunities to serve our children
including Church School, Vacation Bible School, Children's
Chapel, plus musicals, dramas, Nursery on Sunday mornings
and other activities.
Homebound Guild – Karole Cozby,
Coordinator
Volunteers meet with homebound members of St. Luke’s on a
regular basis to provide an ongoing connection with the
parish as well as provide friendship and care.
Young Disciples – Bob Wesneski,
Miriam Petrovich & Tim Simmons, Sponsors
Laypersons are needed as monthly and ongoing sponsors,
retreat and mission sponsors, Advisory Council members,
teachers and presenters.
Office Volunteers – Ann Bell, Parish
Secretary
These persons assist in answering the phones and help
prepare the newsletter and other mailings. Contact the
Parish Secretary -- 918-336-1212.
Greeters – Ada Grillot, Coordinator
These are the first persons people see as they are going to
worship. They make sure everyone is welcomed -- especially
the visitors
Musicians – Dolores McCreary,

Ushers – Steve Clark, Coordinator
The ushers provide a valuable ministry in welcoming people
to the services, handing out service leaflets and making
sure things run smoothly. They serve on teams that rotate
each week.
St. Luke's Bookstore – Cindy Brumley,
Melinda Wesneski & Barbara Martin
The volunteer director, buyers and workers provide a
wonderful service selling items that range from gifts to
jewelry to cards to books and tapes. All of the proceeds go
to outreach ministries.
Lay Eucharistic Visitors (LEV) – Sue
Sparks, Coordinator
Following the 10:30 a.m. Sunday Holy Eucharist, trained and
diocesan licensed LEV volunteers take Communion to members
who are homebound or sick.
Layreaders and Chalice Bearers – Jim
Grillot, Coordinator
These are ministers of the Holy Eucharist and share the
scriptures, prayers and chalice with the congregation. This
ministry requires training and special gifts.
Bereavement Ministry – Ann Bell,
Parish Secretary
Members of the ECW provide a meal or a reception for a
family when there has been a death. Two ECW members are
assigned one month of the calendar year. They are ready each
month to give loving service to grieving families.
St.
Francis Guild (Courtyard & Grounds) – Kathy Zervas,
Coordinator
This committee is responsible for the courtyard and grounds
of the parish. This is a good "hands-on" ministry, which
needs special attention with the change of seasons.
