Weekly
Newsletter - The Steeple - Ann Bell, Parish Secretary.
The Steeple newsletter
is published once a week. It provides a weekly
calendar of events and news of the parish, plus other
valuable and timely information about our members and
activities of interest to everyone at St. Luke's.
Articles for The Steeple must be submitted to the church
office no later than noon on Tuesdays. The newsletter
is mailed out on Wednesday every week. Current and
previous Steeples are posted on this website.
Prayer
List - Ann Bell, Parish Secretary
The Parish Office
maintains a prayer list, which is used in all of the
liturgies of the week - Holy Eucharist and Morning Prayer.
Only first names are used in the Prayers of the People in
order to maintain confidentiality. Unless otherwise
specified, names are rotated off after four weeks.
Names can always be resubmitted. Call the Parish
Office with requests, 918-336-1212, or send an email to
Prayer Chain – Thelma Blackburn and Richard
Chamberlain
St. Luke’s also provides an “email prayer chain” which
includes people who will incorporate special prayer requests
in their daily prayers. These requests will often
include more information concerning the specifics and
circumstances of the need for prayer. On occasion
there will be updates concerning the prayer request.
The Prayer Chain often includes people beyond the parish and
are linked to other Prayer Chains. If you need prayers
for yourself or others and want to be included in the Prayer
Chain, please call the church office, 918-336-1212 or write
to
and specify that you want your request on the Prayer Chain.

Bulletin boards
– Ann Bell, Parish Secretary
There are numerous bulletin boards in the main hallway of
the church with an abundance of useful information regarding
activities and opportunities at St. Luke’s and in the
community. These include St. Luke’s Young Disciples youth
group, Episcopal Church Women (ECW), Lay Ministry Schedules,
Upcoming Events, CONCERN, missionary activities and various
community events of interest.
Pew request
pamphlets – Fr. Stephens
These pamphlets were developed as a means of communication
“from the pew.” If you are visiting St. Luke’s, new to the
community, needing information about the church, have a
prayer request, concern or question you are urged to fill
out the pamphlet and simply place it in the collection
during the service. The information will be passed on to the
clergy or the church office.
Audio Cassettes
of Sunday Services – Doug Freebern, Parish Administrator
Every Sunday the 10:30 a.m. service is recorded on
audiocassette. If you would like a copy of the service,
which would include the sermon, please contact the parish
office. Tapes are $2 each.
